In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
Significant experience in Linux administration
Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
Ability to create scripts in Bash, Python, or other language
Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/S, etc.
Understanding of cloud technologies, including containerization, Docker and Kubernetes, virtualization
Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, etc.

Install, configure, and manage software and hardware
Manage network servers, workstations, user accounts, and technology tools
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
Perform regular security monitoring and daily backup operations
Provide technical support and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
Troubleshoot issues and outages
Basic contract and SLA management
Field Support with direct customer touch
