We are looking for a Jr. Implementation Engineer to join our infrastructure team. As an Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for system setup, environment configuration and deployment processes within internal projects. Responsibilities - Managing customer questions diligently and efficiently, routing them to more experienced members of the team as needed. - Communicating issues, requirements, and feedback between the customers / vendors and other internal teams. - Writing documentation & knowledgebase articles. - Working on internal projects to help the efficiency of the team. - Perform maintenance activities including hardware and software upgrades, migrations, decommissioning, and capacity upgrades. - Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of network hardware, software, and network links. - Create and maintain documentation for the network and system infrastructure. - Work cross-functionally to plan and execute on projects and manage operational incidents. - Be a collaborative teammate that will work across multi-functional groups and have the ability to learn and adapt to changing requirements. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience • Knowledge/experience with System Administration with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) is a plus • Knowledge/experience with Networking and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls) is a plus • Knowledge/experience with Java-based application runtime management and application server technologies (Oracle Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, Wildfly or related) is a plus • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Able to communicate with empathy for the customer. • Able to follow through and complete tasks to a high standard in a timely manner. • Experience with implementing tooling and automation for network configuration and monitoring is a plus • Experience working independently, staying organized, multitasking, prioritizing, and communicating effectively • Knowledge of basic shell scripting and/or python is a plus • Experience with integration of third party opensource software is a plus • Knowledge of basic DBMS operations and maintenance is a plus
